yeah thats me, apologies for such a long break (I have been working hard and watching "Heros"..) Work on Diabla is progressing, I'm up to page 18 but have been interupped by a few jobs (Mircosoft security animation job, which I will post when I have approval) which have been challenging.
Here is a little piece for a friends engagment card, which I have decided to recolour and will post the new version soon...really.

Superheros of Hiphop & R&B!!
This piece was fun to do, still...my likeness could improve...

Speed painting!!
My main man Craigs been sending me some cool links re: speed painting so I though, what the hey.
Makes me feel like a "real artist". Seriously though, I could learn a lot from this http://www.area-56.de/chapter56/2006/11/speedpainting.html

Took me 12 mins...

Here is the type version. Man I miss the old "DC" logo it seems timeless, the new one looks like it will date in 5 min!! ( I must be getting old...)

After working together for about 3 years my little buddy David (KNEE POCKETS) Tang has moved on to greener pastures...

Dancing cats!
Its true... I drew these out of a book, is there any thing cats can't do?

Whoa what weekend! It was great to see new and old faces at the Littlehammer stand, thanks to everyone who supported Craig and I this Supanova http://www.supanova.com.au/. Awesome to see alot of great talent at Artist alley, and thanks again to Danny for making it happen.

Pick up a copy of STU magazine issue 37 www.furstmedia.com.au (available at most record & fashion shops) they included a piece by yours truly. Thanks to Stikman for letting me know!!

Here's a birthday card for my good friend who loves Monkeys...and err cranes, I don't understand that part...

Training!
Lots of train people in my sketch books, handy when they change seats so I can draw a different angle of them, rarely are they this accommadating...

Character designs!!
Here are a couple of designs for a graphic novel project that I have planned after DIABLA, its a desert adventure! I have a script for the first book and a breakdown for the the following 2. CLICK TO ENLARGE

EROTIC BOOKS!!
Here is the second erotic book cover I've done for a US publisher. I think its due out late this year, called INFERNO...

I was told this was too "saucy" so I dressed her up...I dunno..

"Ultimately, literature is nothing but carpentry...Very little magic and a lot of hard work are involved."
Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Nobel prize winner

Damn me if this ain't the truth for comics too!!

More illos soon ...my computer keeps falling over every time I load a new pic...

NO COMFORT ZONE!!
Come on, you want improve your drawing..PUSH YOURSELF draw things you have trouble with...in my case...animals, I love cats (save yer jokes..) Get out of that comfort zone, if it was easy everyone could do it. You can see I gotta lot work to do too...

This was a present for my mate Frank, his character Lionel Demane!
Photoshop CS sure made this a lot of fun, I love the new brushes...but i didn't have
a wacom I used a laptop touch pad..painful.

DIABLA in progress!

I feel like i might be giving too much away...nahhhhhh
rest assured it goes slow...but I'm having a ball!

Diabla comic spread!

WOOHOOO! Comics!!! here's a spread from my upcoming comic DIABLA: A dragons tale... most of you have seen a penciled version on my site...

No excuses!! STUFF 'EM ALL!!!

I, like most lazy artist love to make excuses about finding time to draw, sketch, doddle whatever!
If you REALLY want to improve draw everyday, sounds easy, it is. I commute by train for 3 hrs a day and most people say to me "man, thats must get you down stuck on the train for over 3 hrs and day" (the Trains are always late...) Well it use to, but little by little with a big push from my wife i started to carry a little sketch book in my bag. Now most people starting out sketching, know how hard it is to draw under control conditions (eg: locked away from prying eyes) but in public with all thoughs werid people looking at you and that little voice in your head .."I suck and everyone here thinks so too.." man that little voice can ruin your life!
STUFF 'EM ALL!!! just fricking DO IT! Thats what I was told, and trust me on this one...YOU can not spend 5 years drawing everyday and NOT IMPROVE!!
