MCA Zine fair 2012.. what a day!!

Another great show at the MCA! Thanks again to Clare Wilcox for the invitation and organizing a spectacular day!

My hearty congratulations to my beautiful and talented wife for her successful debut of her Polaroid postcard series, I'm proud to say she out sold me!!

MCA Zine Fair 2011 report

This is a little late as it's been a busy fortnight fighting deadlines and a cold arggh! Anyhow, this year's MCA Zine fair was another great show, with friendly crowds and a unseasonably warm but welcomed weekend (We usually freeze at these shows in Sydney).

Thanks go to the ever helpful Melinda Garcia at the MCA and a big congrats to my booth buddy James Shackle! He sold out of ALL his zines in less than half a day!! That's got to be a record! Thanks to all the people that stopped by our booth to chat and support the artist struggle.
I didn't get to see many other stalls in much detail but what I did get to see was extremely high quality and very creative stuff. If you get a chance to go to next years show I'm sure it won't disappoint!

As part of the Sydney Writers' Festival the MCA will be hosting the annual Zine Fair!
I'll be there selling my goods and sharing a table with the uber talented James Shackell!
and it's FREE admission!!

Zine fair at the NGA Canberra

Thanks to all who supported us on the day! Great to see and chat to so many new and familiar faces, and the NGA's Gandel hall was very classy and spacious. I have to mention the chairs (what?) yes the chairs! So comfortable!! Unlike most shows the NGA chairs have my backsides stamp of approval!
Tom Bonin "DICKS" comic was a stand out for me, and it turns outs that we both love a lot of the same comics. 
Of course thanks to stickyinstitute.com for making the show happen and the invite, and to Ben Craddock for these pics too...

Last Sundays Zine Fair at the Museum of Contemporary art, normally boasting picturesque Sydney harbour... alas dark skys and a bit of rain. But that didn't stop a great swelling crowd !! Thanks to all who supported Rachael and I on the day!
