Harpy and Jason designs

These are a couple of character designs for the Jason and the Argonauts comic... I love drawing the Harpy! I was inspired by the original "Jason and the Argonauts" (1963) for Jason's armor... with a few alterations!

I've always thought the story of Hades and Persphone (the abduction) was a great myth explaining the change of seasons. Here's some pics my wife shot of the piece in progress...I'm working on in at A2 size which is much bigger than I'm use to...(Scanning PAIN!!!)
